Have you ever wanted to walk the shore path, but didn't want to walk all 21 miles in one day? Thanks to the Get Moving Walworth County, they have arranged 5 separate walks, with shuttle service, so you can easily make the journey around the entire lake this summer. 

• Walk 1: 2.5 Miles: Wednesday, June 3 Big Foot Beach State Park to Flat Iron Park, Lake Geneva

• Walk 2: 3.5 Miles: Tuesday, June 30 Williams Bay to Fontana

• Walk 3: 3.3 Miles: Monday, July 13 Linn Pier (Linn Road, North of Birches Drive) to Big Foot Beach State Park

• Walk 4: 5.5 Miles: Wednesday, July 29 From Fontana Beach to Linn Pier, including Black Point Estate. There will be an opportunity to view the exterior of the home, as well as the gardens, with a pit stop and beverage break as well! As a reminder, there are 120 stairs from the path to the Black Point Estate.  Those who chose not to climb the stairs are welcome to take a break on the benches along the lake shore or to continue on.  The  walk will finish at the Linn Public Pier, where shuttles will be available back to Fontana.  Please plan to arrive a little early for parking. Metered parking is available close to our meeting site, but free parking requires you to walk a little ways. Take your pick! 

• Walk 5: 7 Miles: Friday, August 21 Williams Bay to Flat Iron Park 

Details: Register for Get Moving Walworth county at http://getmovingwalworthcounty.com prior to the event or in person at the walk. The program charges a one time fee of $5 per adult and $1 per child, for an entire summer of events.  Show up to any one or all of these walks at 9am and shuttles will be available to bring you back. Thie final walk of 7 miles will have a return trip available on the Lake Geneva Cruise Line for $15 or earn a chance to win a free boat pass by walking in all five of the Shore Path events. Winners will be chosen randomly.
