7-Eleven has declared it Bring Your Own Cup Day (BYO Cup Day) on Saturday, April 11th from 11am to 7pm. Over 7,700 7-Elevens will be participating in this fun event. The closest locations to Lake Geneva are at 3808 W Elm Street, McHenry, IL and 28952 West IL Route 120, Lakemoor, IL.
For one day only, customers can bring almost any cup or container to their local 7-Eleven and fill it up with their favorite flavor or combo of Slurpee's for just $1.49 per cup, which is the same price as a 22 ounce, medium-sized Slurpee. The cups or containers must be clean, leak-proof, have a definite shape, and must be no bigger than 10 inches in diameter. There will be a 10-inch diameter hole posted by Slurpee machines, that will be used as a guide. A cup that just fits through the hole could conceivably hold about a gallon of Slurpee – about three times the Slurpee for the price, or roughly 100 extra ounces.
Other than that, 7-Eleven wants its customers to get creative. So, if you have a sand bucket, vase, plant pot, bowling trophy or any other type of unique container that will hold liquid, bring it in on April 11 and fill it up.
And once you have done so, make sure to take a pic and post it on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #BYOCupDay. In addition, add REALLYSLURPEE on Snapchat for the latest updates about BYO Cup Day.
