Maxwell Mansion is a European style Inn located 1 block from Geneva Lake. Recently acquired by the owners of the luxury Baker House, this historically significant Italianate Mansion offers clean and charming rooms for both overnight accommodations and extended stay vacations. It was first occupied in 1856 by Dr. Phillip Maxwell, a prominent Chicago surgeon and real estate prospector, and at the time, was lakefront property on Geneva Lake.
