The Geneva Lake Astrophysics and STEAM (GLAS) is a non-profit community group created to ensure the viability of programs formerly operated by Yerkes Education Outreach (YEO), & seek out new opportunities & funding sources to secure the long-term sustainability of GLAS programs. Some of their programs include Star Parties viewing events throughout the area during seasonal equinox's and other important celestial happenings, as well as the Dark Sky Initiative which raises awareness of the negative impacts of light pollution on the environment, human health, safety, and astronomy and empowering individuals and communities to take positive action to lessen or eliminate these effects.

The Geneva Lakes Astrophyics and STEAM office is located in Williams Bay and volunteers are always welcome.
